Slender Man

The Slender Man is a fictional being created by Something Awful Forums. The traditional descriptions of Slender Man are: extremely tall (7-8 feet), super thin, black or dark grey suit, red or black tie, branch/tentacle-like appendages protruding through his back, no face, completely white, and able to stretch his limbs to exraordinary lengths.

SLENDER MAN:

The Slender Man is known for kidnapping people. These people are either never seen again, or found impaled on a high tree branch with their organs put into unknown bags and replaced in their original places inside the body. Most cases are children or teenagers, but adults are rarely taken. Many speculate that the adults taken are people who "escaped" as children.

SLENDER MAN NEAR CHILDREN:

Many people describe a symbol that has been found near or drawn by those taken by Slender Man. This symbol is usually called the "Operator Symbol" and consists of a circle with an X drawn through it. This symbol is seen mainly where Slender Man has been, whether drawn by someone afflicted by him, or drawn by a Proxy (next blog, people!) to mark that they live there and Slender Man has influence in their lives. Most speculate that the more Operator symbols drawn in one place, the more influence Slender Man has over that place; the more a person draws it, the more influence over that person Slender Man has. Several reports say that the more influence over a person Slender Man has, the closer he gets.

OPERATOR SYMBOL:

Many people have caught Slender Man on their Camera, whether on video or picture. There are old photos with Slender Man in them, up to the ones from this current year. As said about slender Man mostly targeting children, most of the photos are of children.

SLENDER MAN RIGHT TOP CORNER:

Several people who claim to have seen or been attacked by Slender Man report a "slender sickness" whenever he is near. This sickness causes several symptoms, including: Nighmares about him, Migraine headaches, nausea, coughing fits that last long periods of time, sightings of him, paranoia, coughing up blood, and memory loss. (missing chunks of time such as days, weeks, and months is the memory loss expected with slender sickness.)
